Getting started
Thanks, just looking…
- Download and install the IDE here . It is not necessary to have the I/O modules for the first steps, you only need a PC (1.6 GHz, 512 MB (better 1 GB) RAM, free HDD space < 1GB).
- Install Microsoft .NET 2.0, e.g. from here.
- Download the IDE manual from here and follow the instructions. Install IDE and engineer your first application - a simple thermostat - in less than 20 pages.
- If not sure, try the forum or hotline.
- After you complete your off-line tries, get some I/O modules and control the peripherials from your PC.
- In the end, switch over to a process station or MiniPLC. Get a free 30-days trial MiniPLC and MCIO.
